Filial Piety Synopsis - Armitage Shanks is the reluctant leader of UPB 2, the second United Planetary Body, who is charged with protecting Filial Piety, a new moon discovered orbiting Earth until the world leaders arrive themselves. It would be easy if just Armitage, son of UPB leader Maurice, was alone. But the rest of the world leaders have sent their own progeny too, and are as bent on conflict as Armitage is on pacifism. And until his father decides otherwise,Armitage is stuck on Filial Piety, named in his honour - and to his dismay.
